Megantic Energy was named ‘Megantic’ after the SS Megantic.
The SS Megantic (also known as the RMS (Royal Mail Ship) Megantic was on the Liverpool to Montreal Atlantic Route and later New York Run.

In World War 1 the ship was attacked by German U-boat U-43 but survived.
The owner of this website is Michael and Michael´s Grandfather served on the SS Megantic.
He also died on board and was buried at sea.

Megantic Energy Aim and Mission
